I just want to jump back into this blog thing, haven't updated since Joss was under a year old! So I will jump right back in and ask you...

Walking Toy.

Missing Joss...

I love this picture of Joscelyn. She is starting to look like a "toddler".

Mondays are usually a hard day for Marty and I to be away from her...the weekend could not come soon enough :)

A Morning in the Life...

I attempted to take pictures all day last Saturday (10/4/08) but I only got as far as about 12:00 noon.

Here is what I got!

Joss makes sure I start my day bright and early:



We let dad sleep since he has gotten up early this week:



Joscelyn decides to wrestle her glow worm (Marty is teaching her Mixed Martial Arts ;)). Now that she is mobile, most pictures we take of her are blurry.



After winning the match with her glow worm she attacks the DVD rack and moves on to bigger and better things: the bathroom.



I run and snatch her from the bathroom and we check on daddy:



Still sleeping! We decide to give him some more time. I put Joscelyn down to play and I check my email and notice more noise by the dvd rack:



Apparently she didn't do enough damage the first hundred times :)

I take Joscelyn out back to check the weather, it rained last night (our first rain of the year)!

We decide we love him enough to make him breakfast:

Last night we pulled out the chair she slept in when she was a tiny baby, we decided to put her in it when she conked out for her morning nap:

Now we get dressed and head out the door for soccer games, Marty and Joscelyn trade hats:

That is all I have! Let's just say we get a lot done by 12:00 on the weekends :) Before we had the baby Marty and I were sound asleep until noon :)

Joscelyn is Crawling!

I have been meaning to do a "Day In the Life" post. I think that would be fun to share with everyone. A DITL is a picture post that illustrates our day from beginning to end. Of course, we would do this on a weekend when we are all together all day.

In the mean time, here is a picture from Joscelyn's 9 month "photo shoot". Soon after we got to the Picture People we realized that it is much harder to get her pictures done now that she is crawling. She basically "ran away" from camera the entire time. I had to fix her dress about a thousand times as her bow continued to fall out of her hair. Let's just say it's not as easy as it used to be. The first time we took pictures she was about 8 days old and slept the entire time :)
